ABOUT STOCKSMOOR VILLAGE ASSOCIATION 

The Association was formed to represent the interests of Stocksmoor residents, our Constitution can be seen here

This site has been set up to provide information about the village for residents and visitors including:

  • Local news and updates

  • Issues of concern to villagers

  • Details of the community interest groups within the village

  • Images from the village

  • Calendar of village hall events and meetings

The website is maintained by volunteers, we will do our best to keep it up to date but please do let us know if you spot content that needs modifying. If you would like news items, events or interest points adding to the site then please contact us.

The Village has two defibrillators and they are located at: The Village Hall & Opposite the Bus Station at Whitestones.

We will use the information about you to administer the association. We will not disclose any information about you to any company unless required to do so by law.

We would like to send you newsletters and other information about how you can support Stocksmoor Village Association.  If you have registered to receive email notifications, you may opt out at a later date.  You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes. We will not share any of your personal details with any 3rd party organisations for marketing purposes without collecting your explicit consent. It is possible we might have to disclose information for legal purposes. The legal basis for processing your data is ‘legitimate interest’.

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. 

We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date.  You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.

Retention of data

We will securely retain your data for 6 years for adults and 6 years after a child reaches the age of 18.
